Senior Project Director

As the Senior Project Director, you will play a key role in managing delivery projects, budgets and relationships globally. In addition, you will be leading your international delivery and implementation teams. 

Responsibilities

  • Management
    • Hiring and managing international teams
    • Working side-by-side with Product Team to coordinate the roadmaps
    • Paricipation in Management Commitee as global project responsible
  • Project management
    • Exercise project management best practices and oversee project activities consistent with the
      established scope and requirements.
    • Schedule management: including resource planning, sequencing of tasks, estimating, identifying
      dependencies, and tracking procedures.
    • Scope management: including project initiation, scope planning, definition and change control
      procedures and approvals.
    • Cost management: resource planning, cost estimation, budgeting and control activities.
    • Risk Management: risk planning, identification, mitigation, and remediation.
    • Quality management: responsibility for project deliverables including quality control.
    • Communications: management of project team communications with key stakeholders
    • Documentation: Manage product documentation process and ensure completeness.
    • Training: Establish training program and execution.
  • Master Project Plan
    • Creating and updating the master project plan.
    • Tracking the plan against delivery date milestones.
  • Communications Plan:
    • Managing stakeholder expectations.
    • Oversight/ leadership of all client communications.
    • Management of key project team meetings and follow-up on action itemsVery good knowledge of automotive (dealer/importer) business processes 

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • Very good knowledge of automotive (dealer/importer) business processes
  • Strong team player
  • Strong business planning, analytical and communication skills
  • Self-starter, with entrepreneurial drive and passion to succeed
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in management of a software delivery team / support team, including teams geographically spread (remote team)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in working in a global software development corporation, at least as a mid-level, prefferably, as a high-level manager
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in management of international projects
    • automotive software implementation
    • business processes and standards implementation
  • Proof of a minimum 5 international projects imlementations, including projects:
    • with regional car importers
    • with global car manufacturers
    • where number of implemented software end-users was 1000+
    • with rollout of 50+ dealerships
    • with implementations in Asia
  • Understanding of an automotive market landscape and requirements
  • Very good English language
  • Very good communication / soft skills
  • Higher IT educaiton

  • Previous experience with subscription based products
  • Existing relationships in automotive NSC/OEM companies
